Ty morgans is a brand new complex situated in the centre of the beautiful market town of Rhayader. Ty morgan's is a three story town house that had been totally renovated in the summer of 2009 giving it a modern fresh look to the accommodation.The guest house is part of a complex that includes a Bistro and The Strand Coffee and Sandwich shop and Morgans Bar all overlooking the town centre. The rooms have all been individually designed by an interior designer and all have en-suite facilities. “ the hotel was a very enjoybale stay over. The room was very coomfy, clean, warm at night. The staff we met including the chef very friendly and helpfull, we where made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in to check in. A fantastic breakfast, the hotel has its own bistro which because we ate earlier we didnt use but menue was very good and bistro was busy. The carpark was tight but there is plenty carparking about. Its a great base for a walking holiday the ELAN VALLEY just 3 miles up the road. We got told dogs are welcome, over all great value for money my partner and I will deffo stay again and would recommend this hotel to anybody for a short or long stay a very enjoyable stay.
“ Top Tip: there was no shortage of pubs in the village 17 i think all with in 3/5 mins walking from hotel which itself had a nice bar. Ideal for sight seeing the dams and resevoirs in the Elan Valley 3 miles away a walkers paridise.

“ Really lovely rooms- clean, modern and well decorated. Lovely touches like homemade shortbread waiting for us on the dresser when we arrived. Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic big breakfast! No complaints at all.

Enjoyed my stay at Ny Morgans as the property was very clean, modernised rooms,good staff and good breakfast.
I stayed on a Tuesday evening which was ideal as the bar area was quite, however, I imagine this may not be the case come nearer the weekend.
“ Top Tip: Do not reccommend the Indian restaurant and there is little to do within the area. Certianly not a place I would take my family.
