All the accommodation provided in the hotel is en-suite comprising a combined bath and shower unit washbasin and toilet. the rooms are bright and tastefully decorated with all the usual facilities you would expect to find. Rooms are on ground floor and first floor levels with stairs for access to the first floor. Please specify if ground floor is required. Check in is from 6pm however if you do require access earlier please ring us to arrange a time and we will be happy to accomodate you.

After reading what appeared to be a mountain of negative comments, some very recent, it was with intrepedation we entered the hotel.
We were met at reception and directed to our room on the first floor.
The room, in contradiction to many of the reviews, was clean, as was the bathroom and for £32 was far better than many I have stayed in and paid more.
The bed was solid, the ample towels nice and clean, there wasn't, without being extremely picky, anything to make me believe any of the comments I had read.
The bar was very pleasant, olde worlde style beams, log fires etc and the food we ordered was brought to the table nice and prompt, well cooked and fair value.
We had a quiet, good nights sleep, were provided with a complimentary additional jug of milk on request and the staff we met were pleasant and helpful!
I stay in many hotels countrywide and based this opinion on price and location.
Anyone thinking of staying at this hotel should disregard most of the negative opinion in my opinion, I am sure any problems would be dealt with on request.

Really lovely Country Pub. The staff could not do enough for you. Nothing was too much effort. Beautiful large bedroom and bathroom. Clean, tidy and just wonderful. We slept like the dead.
Food and beer good quality and reasonable price. We would gladly stay again.
