At the Spread Eagle Scotland's oldest continually licensed hotel we'reproud to serve you.With parts of the building dating from the time of Mary Queen of Scotswe offer spacious en-suite bedrooms a cosy lounge with wood-burningstove and a sun-trap beer garden to the rear of the building.We welcome families and have two cots as well as a children's menu.Children under 5 stay free.Golf is available on 23 local courses as part of the Freedom of theFairways scheme and there is also excellent walking cycling fishinghorse-riding and other country pursuits in the wonderful scenery of theBorders.Whether you join us for dinner or spend the night in one of our newlyrenovated rooms complete with ensuite flat-screen TV and complimentaryWi-Fi you're always welcome.The hotel is completely non-smoking.
