Malmaison Newcastle

“ Had a fantastic stay at Mal in Newacastle and would recommend it and book to stay again.

However, our room was never cleaned and we never seen a maid. We stayed from the Friday til Sunday. There were no tissues or cotton buds in the bathroom. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet roll. This was purely because the room was not serviced which was disappointing.

But, we would go back.

“ Top Tip: Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance and too many to recommend or state here. However the meal in Mal was superb, slightly expensive but worth the experience.

“ Views were wonderful, only comment we could not see it from our room as we were on the back, another point corridors were dark.

I would like to say how helpful,pleasant and friendly the staff were, I was very impressed.

Choice of breakfast was very impressive I had my favourite smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which was fantastic and presentation was wonderful, first class!! compliemts to the chef!!

Bridge from Hotel accross river, I have wanted to walk over since it was built and made it at last!!

“ great location by the newly developed quayside area, but only ten minutes walk to town centre.food was excellent, a little expensive tho, as were drinks.request a river view room which overlooks the millenium bridge and quayside which look great when lit up at night. overall great hotel and we will definately stay there again

“ Top Tip: a walk down the quayside is a must, and the piano bar overlooking the river was excellent
