The public areas of the hotel were very well maintained & the staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good. The bedroom could have done with being updated as there were signs of wear & tear. Although listed as a double, it was smallish with no room for a chair/chairs to sit in,relax & read the Sunday papers. The bathroom was large but was only heated by a small towel rail, this would definitely need improvement. The bathroom overall would require updating.
For a short stay in Newcastle, this hotel is ideally situated close to all amenities. I would be happy to stay there again.
