“ The hotel is right on its own private beach which is a very surprising bonus as it is really a city hotel. I would be only honest by saying I have stayed in better 5 * hotels in the U.A.E. however the staff are attentive and try hard to please. The hotel lacks modern furnishings and the rooms are big but a bit worn out and the bathrooms really could do with updating. My only gripe would be that they only provide tea and coffee for ONE night and you have to pay to have it replenished, this is not 5* treatment! Eating in the hotel is pricey as they add ++ about 20% in total to the bill, but there are plenty restaurants nearby. I would go back - so that says it all!!!
“ Top Tip: A great restaurant called Sadaf, Iranian restaurant about 20 mins walk or taxi 5 mins. We also visited the Sharjah Islamic museum 10 mins walk away and found this very interesting. Mega Mall for shoppingwith free bus from the hotel is ok but Duabi City centre is better and the hotel provide a free bus. We used the new Metro in Dubai - clean, efficient, cheap and I hope they extend it soon.
