Pittodrie House Hotel

“ Our second stay at this lovely hotel. Staff very warm, friendly and attentive. Dog-friendly hotel (we have a retriever). Rooms very comfortable and clean. Food and service excellent. We were there with our two "young adult" children who also love the place. We saw younger children around, having a lovely time. It is a bit remote, but that is part of the charm. It would benefit from a few more indoor activities for the winter months - even a pool table, small gymnasium or similar and next visit I would bring them a new Scrabble set! Not a deficiency from our point of view as we were only there a couple of days, visiting friends. Thoroughly recommended. Note that we got a very good deal through Travel Republic and would use them again.

“ We were attending a wedding at the hotel. The reception and the food were excellent. I didn't think our room was up to the standard of a four star hotel. Some of the furnishings were old, chipped and worn ( I actually ripped my skirt on the broken dressing table chair, I reported it twice and all I got was I'm very sorry)! On a plus point the bed was extremely comfy and you could not fault the cleanliness of the room. In my opinion it did not offer value for money and unless I had to stay over for convenience at a wedding etc I would not return to this hotel. I suppose it did have some old world charm and had a very quiet and out of the way location.
