Ideally located for peace and quiet yet only five minutes walk into the village The Glen Lui is set in a secluded location within two acres of woodlands on Royal Deeside. The hotel is within the boundaries of Cairngorms National Park and enjoys stunning views over the golf course to Lochnagar. The location is ideal for walking golf skiing during winter and fly fishing on the River Dee. We are also on the Malt Whisky and Castle Trail and Balmoral Castle is only 8 miles away.The hotel has a spacious restaurant where a great deal of imagination goes into the preparation of the restaurant menus and the food is first class using fresh local produce with a suitably supportive wine list. We also have a welcoming bar and good range of Malts.Ample car parking. Quiet and peaceful location. Dogs welcome in our Pine Terrace rooms.

The hotel is recognised by the Taste of Scotland and has a fine selection of malt whisky to enjoy in front of open log fires.Whilst you are staying with us you must sample our AA Rosette winning dishes prepared by Head Chef Neil Keevil. We pride ourselves in using the best local produce in our menus including Aberdeen Angus Beef Lamb and Game from the local hills and farms. There are numerous activities and attractions to do in the area and being located between the villages of Aboyne and Ballater the Hotel backs onto the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve with splendid woodland walks around Loch Kinord and Loch Davan from our doorstep.

Set on the Historic Mid Links the Links is a lovely hotel dating back to 1875. It has a central location close to the town centre and is within walking distance of the 5th Oldest Golf Course in the world and Montrose Beach with three miles of golden sand. This former Edwardian townhouse is an excellent choice for private guests smaller groups and families. It offers 25 quality and individual designed bedrooms. The food and service is highly commended and for more informal eating the Dutch Koffiehuis will delight you with an exciting mix of Scottish and Continental cuisine. For events the hotels conference facilities feature three versatile suites of varying sizes. The main room the Fairways Suite combined can comfortably accommodate as little as 26 and up to 360 people and on the first floor the hotel offers the very distinguished Drawing Room part of the original townhouse. All in all The Best Western Links offers excellent facilities together with excellent hospitality ensuring you a refreshing and relaxing
