The Huntly Arms Hotel is set in the picturesque village of Aboyne surrounded by the beautiful Cairngorms Park and a stones throw from the River Dee. Probably the oldest coaching inn to be found in Scotland the hotel dates back to 1432 and has played host to Jacobite leaders and later to Queen Victoria who often rested at the Hotel on her way to Balmoral. The Huntly Arms has 50 en-suite bedrooms from most of which you can witness spectacular scenery.The hotel provides a perfect base from which to explore the North East Coast of Scotland or for the more energetic experience some of the most scenic walks in the area.
“ We did have a problem with the room late evening but the staff reacted very quickly & moved us to another room & the Manager upgraded our room the following morning Manager & staff were very helpful enjoyable stay would stay again Heating was erratic & would benefit from updating

Struan Hall is quietly situated in two acres of ground half a mile from the village centre. The House was formerly built on a site 5 miles to the east of Aboyne where it was known as Tillydrine House. In 1904 it was moved stone by stone to its present location and has recently been subjected to substantial but sympathetic refurbishment. Our aim is to provide modern facilities in traditional surroundings. All bedrooms have private bathrooms central heating TV and TeaCoffee making facilities. A spacious Lounge and Dining Room overlook our front garden.
