“ The reception on arrival was excellent. The room was more than satisfactory, being large, clean and having an outstanding bathroom.

Whilst bar prices were on the expensive side, the service was first class.

The restaurant offered a wide range on high quality food. The staff were attentive and provided a high standard of service. The restaurant manager was a credit to the hotel.

“ I must admit I was extremely disappointed with the Beryestede Hotel and found it very over priced for the quality experienced (even with the discounted rate offered by Travel Republic - had we gone directly to the Hotel we would have paid even more!!!). Whilst the downstairs reception, seating and restaurant areas were very nice the bedrooms fell well below expectations. The rooms were dark and drab and the bed was so close to the bedside tables we constantly hit our heads and arms on them. The bathroom was awful. There were damp patches on the ceiling above the shower and a disgusting brown stain around the plug in the bath. The tiles and grout in the shower looked mouldy and the water from the shower head shot out at one side. The bathroom had one small towel warmer which obviously had the towels on and the room itself was very cold. The noise from the traffic was awful so we had very little sleep. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to write home about and the cooked meal turned up before we had finished our yoghurt and fruit. We also had to ask for plates and bowls to be removed and had to obtain replacement cutlery from another table and ask for a cup to be changed when having tea after using it for coffee.

“ Perfect base if you are visiting Ascot Racecourse.Clean and comfortable rooms and very quiet.Bar and Restaurant quite expensive and not exceptional but plenty of local places a short taxi ride to eat at.Breakfast is also not great for the prices.We usually stay here a few times a year for Ascot as it is only a short taxi and very convienient.
