“ Staff excellent, breakfast very good. Prices exhorbitant - Sausage and mash, fish and chips both £15 in the foyer bar. Staff apologised for drinks prices - £20 for bottle of house wine. Deluxe rooms anything but - very small, only two drawers for clothing for two people for four nights at end of October, therefore clothes left around room. Decor dated, although work being done on some rooms. Two indoor pools, one for adults, one for children, but adult pool full of unsupervised children, making the in house brochure claim of "enjoy a relaxing a dip in the adult pool" a joke. Woodshed bar ok. We would go again to use as a base with the discaounted price through Travel Republic, but would definitely not pay hotel rate.
“ Top Tip: Eat and drink at the Cairngorm Hotel or Old Bridge Inn - both worth the taxi fare. Visit the Highland Wildlife Park
