Set in large gardens on the edge of Bath this beautiful Georgian mansion with a gym a tennis court and very good service is only 1.5 miles from the city centre. Bailbrook House hotel has spacious en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and onsite Car parking. All of the modern rooms are in a building adjacent to the main house.Bailbrook House has a sauna and a hot tub for guests plus mountain bikes to hire. The Grade-II mansion overlooks the Avon Valley and is 10 minutes from the M4.Children under the age of 12 will stay and eat free! Children under the age of 12 can be accommodated on an extra bed in the room free of charge. Children over the age of 12 cannot be accommodated in the room and therefore an additional room is required. Children under the age of 18 may not be accommodated in a room with out an adult present.

“ overall I was disappointed as I thought we would be staying in a manor house, instead it was a 1980,s accommodation block, not unlike my sons university halls,not really what i had in mind for my husbands birthday surprise, wasn't worth the money, breakfast was only average, and to top it all we were caught up in two weddings with doors banging all night, so I wont be recommending this one,only nice thing was the lovely grounds,the staff were friendly but a bit to far away from city centre.

“ This is by no means a 4 star hotel. It is a conference centre with bedrooms let out to private guests when available. Room is adequate, but heating arrangements are primitive, TV is tiny, only one chair in the room, no lift, very ordinary breakfast, a long way from the centre of bath - further than their web site says etc etc. A very disappointing stay
“ Top Tip: Hudsons restaurant at the top of Walcot Street. Excellent valiue for an excellent meal!

“ Excellent hotel in great location for Bath. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast could not be faulted. Have already recomended this hotel to our friends. Only drawback was no lift which was a problem for one of our friends as I did request a ground floor room for them on booking.
