“ Excellent customer service. Reception staff were brilliant. Good buffet breakfast menu. Very clean room and bathroom. Some Belfast attractions within walking distance and also direct phone line to local taxi service and taxi's arrived within minutes.

“ Top Tip: If you're looking for a special restaurant in Belfast city centre then try Deane's restaurant. Simply amazing. Also Chubby Cherubs in Arthur Street, one of the best Italian restaurant's I've been to.

“ The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful, and we were quite demanding guests! They were happy to help with any requests we had and to answer all our questions about the area we werre staying in. Assistance was provided in booking sightseeing tours and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were anticipated and met.

The bar is expensive (double Jack Daniels and Coke costing just under £10!) but service excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the hotel resturant and felt that although not cheap, the cost was reasonable. The breakfast was also wonderful with a wide choice of hot and cold (regularary refreshed) food from the buffet. We didn't use room service as we felt the £4 tray service cost was a little steep.

“ Top Tip: If you wish to sightsee during your trip the Black Cab tours are great. A really informative and personal service.

The hotel ask for a £50 per night deposit so guests can use the bar after 11pm. This is due to the public license they have and they are unable to accept cash after 11pm but are haapy to serve you beyond this. The deposit is either fully refunded or can be off set against any checking out costs i.e. room service, mini bar or bar bill.

“ On arrival the hotel were not aware of my booking. the receptionist was rude and said in her 7 years working there she had never heard of Travel Republic. I had to print out my booking confirmation for her to fax to central reservations. She left us sitting half an hour and eventually I had to go and ask her what was happening. She said "oh its ok you are booked in". She then proceeded to arrange for a fold up bed to be put in a double room. We had booked a triple room for 3 adults!! When we went to check out another receptionist tried to make me pay and I had to print out my documents yet again to prove it was already paid. Really not good enough service in a hotel of this rating.
