“ Myself and my mother stayed here for one night as my mother's sister was having her 90th birthday in the hotel. From we entered the hotel everything was great. The hotel was spotless and they had given us a quiet no-smoking room as requested. The meal was great , the staff friendly and obliging and the following morning the breakfast was superb! We would have loved to be able to stay longer! Many thanks for simplifying everything!

“ Lovely swimming pool with integrated jacuzzi and adjacent steam room and sauna - great relaxation. Pity the pool wasn't open later than 5.00pm on Saturday though. Restaurant had ok range of options for evening meal and breakfast couldn't have been better. Excellent room.
“ Top Tip: The Botanical Gardens are within easy driving reach, small but with beautiful Victorian glass house.

“ Hotel a good 3 star, would not rate it as a 4 star. The worst experience i've ever had at breakfast! Breakfast is only served until 10.30 on a Sunday morning and when I say 10.30 I mean 10.25. I got down for breakfast at 10.25 (so did many other people as there was a wedding on in the hotel the night before) and to my astonishment the restaurant "manager" told me as I was going to my seat that breakfast was finished. I went up to get orange juice and just as I was sitting down the manger had ordered (and I mean ordered) the staff to remove the food. I have stayed in many hotels over my life and I was never more shocked at (a) the manager's treatment of staff in front of guests and (b) whipping away food when there was clearly people there that wanted it. I will not be returning to this hotel!
