I would recommend the hotel to all types, it is near to all the local bars, shops etc and train station, bus stops etc, the only problem we had was that when we went for the breakfast the restaurant was freezing cold but i think they was having problems with heating in the room but apart from that its lovely, i definately recommend u having the breakfast as its all u can eat full english and it has loads of fruit, cereal and tea/coffee etc, there is tea and coffee in the room and the bed is wonderful, the room just could have done with a bit more vacuuming but if ur just after a bed and breakfast its perfect, im definately stopping there again, its great value for the location and food etc!!!.x

Top Tip: definately upgrade for the breakfast as its definately worth it!!!, if u want a quiet room though ask for a high floor, its right on the high street so its perfect for girly weekends etc, but if u want a great location, fantastic value for money then go for it!!!

Check-in date:

Great location for a city break very central. Room was on the 4th floor and decor good, clean bathroom a little dated, but good, very good shower.

Negatives - difficult to find in a car, due to it's location. I would recommend parking in a city centre carpark and walk, prices about the same £9 for 24 hours.
Noisy late at night, but again due to the location. I assume higher up or rooms in other locations would be different.

Overall a good break in a nice hotel that fitted our needs.

Top Tip: Walk through the Mail Box to the canals, lovely walk up to the NIA and plenty of bars and restaurants and good old fashioned pubson the way! Chinatown is good too (near the Hippodrome Theatre)

The resturant found some of foods rather expensive could do with a more varied choice. We strolled o/side to find TGI Fridays rammed with customers. I hope this could be done with different theme nights. Breaksfast was excellent and the waiting staff of very high standard, willingness to help they deserve it.Overall a fanastic w/end will be using it again
