“ just come back from a 2 night break,excellent hotel, very warm rooms, bedding changed every day,very good value with a very very good evening meal.Would go back again. Very close to the NIA,ICC and not to far from the Bull Ring. The staff were very friendly and helpful couldn`t fault it.

“ My room (with en-suite) was lovely. Clean, warm and a good size for a single room. Bed was bigger than a single bed and I slept like a baby! Tea and coffee making facilities were offered and a little bottle of water.
“ Top Tip: Unfortunately, I did not have time to explore surrounding amenities - next time perhaps!

our stay was good . apart from the paper thin walls . u can hear everything . plus the sliver fish darting around the bathroom. and we found that if u smoke u can have the doors open . which was very cold and smellt . plus any one could walk in. we had a party at the hotel .for my cousin . very nice room . staff very good . well looked after . room good . breakfast .good . but .will not be going back . there some things that need to be sorted out . ratings 4out of 10

“ Not exactly "five-star," but neither is the price! Warm, comfortable, and clean room and en-suite. Good menu choice for main meals and bar-snacks, with affordable selection of both. The Paragon Hotel, Birmingham, was built in 1903 and is a magnificent example of Victorian Gothic architecture. Within the walls of this historic Grade II listed building many of the original aspects have been lovingly restored back to their former glories. With excellent transport links to the M42/ M6 / M40 and Birmingham International Airport, The Paragon is one of the largest and best conference venues in Birmingham. Additionally, the close proximity to Birmingham City Centre means that it is ideal venue for taking advantage of the fantastic shopping facilities and Birmingham's buzzing night life. The Paragon’s 250 selection of contemporary style bedrooms include Small Singles, Medium Twins, Medium and Larger Doubles and a Suite. Each of the bedrooms' offer the excellent facilities visitors have come to expect from an urban retreat. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, direct dial telephones, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking on site is available at £5 per night.
“ the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould, the bathroom bin was broken and the shower curtain had seen better days. The fixtures had been sealed with silicone and was very shabby. it was only for one night so was acceptable. the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

“ It was awful. I booked this hotel as was attending an event at the Nec and the website said there was a 24 hr shuttle bus. On both days this did not arrive and I made several calls to the hotel as I waited, 1 hour 20 minutes later I got to the hotel.
