“ Room was dirty n shower was not very nice
Colin from Maidstone
This is the worst hotel I have stayed in for years. The whole place smells of damp and stale cigarette smoke. It is in serious need of an upgrade and modernisation. The rooms are small and the walls paper thin. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and the shower was as a powerful as the urine stream of a pensioner with a seriously enlarged prostate.
There is no room service and the restaurant options are very poor and basic. To cap it all I was refused my inclusive breakfast! They offered to correct this but by this time I just wanted to get out of the place.
Finally, I was told it was close to Edbaston Cricket Ground, it was not.
The only plus point was the receptionist who was polite and pleasant. She should go and work somewhere else.
“ Top Tip: In Birmingham, there is nothing special except the road out!
Paul from Worthing
