“ Very pleased with this hotel, nice room, very clean, good choice of tv stations,excellent breakfast and radiators that actually give out warm air.What a difference to the quality of this hotel from the last time I stayed here about 10 years ago.Come to Blackpool several times a year, will definately come back to this one.Excellent value for money.

Hotel is starting to look a little dated - carpets on the stairs are going thread bare, wall coverings look tired, etc. Everything was very clean though so could not fault it on that front. Staff very very helpful - especially with a young child and high winds !
Our room was a "standard twin" and was at the very back of the hotel. This was from one point good, as it was quiet however from a point of getting there, bad as we had a host of dancing bags as well as a normal suitcase - there where another 4 or 5 sets of stairs to navigate after taking the lift to the correct floor. The room was also the smallest I have ever stayed in - I would say it would have made a comfortable single room, not a twin. Overall, not bad, but not brilliant

“ Hotel was lovely and the staff was extremely friendly. Would stay here again but id prob request a sea-view room next time. Breakfast in the morning was superb,if any items was running low the staff would fill it up straight away. Only downfall was i had requested a cot for the room wen i booked online,when i asked at reception they didnt know if there was a cot in the room and if not id have to pay £7.50 for a use of a cot (this was not mentioned in the booking). I had brought my own travel cot,which was a good job. Overall i would recommend this hotel :-)

Having just completed a multi-million pound refurbishment all 145 stylishly decorated bedrooms include Telephone TV Hairdryer and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms offer Sea Views and Spa Baths. Gilbert's restaurant offers a big hearty breakfast light lunches and traditional mouth watering 3-course Dinners. The Albany Bar compliments the restaurant with its warm and cosy seating area and is the perfect place for that relaxing drink or snack. The six conference rooms that are available have first class facilities and hold up to 400 people. WIFI is free to all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel.

“ we stayed mon to thursday. hotel only supplies travel cots no cots available and no entertanment on weds night but we were told there would be every night. staff very nice, rooms very small, food nice (only had b/fast there) towels were not changed even though we wanted them 2 be as we had a small baby with us and didnt want to reuse them on the baby
