Gainsborough Hotel is walking distance from Blackpool Tower, Winter Gardens and the Grand Theatre.
Evening meals are available in the restaurant, and there is also a bar and a patio facing Promenade. Bar meals are served daily in the bar lounge, with panoramic sea views.
Walk along the Promenade to reach Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterworld, or take a short ride on one of Blackpool’s historic trams.
The lounge bar serves light meals, snacks and beverages, and there is also a dining room. Full English breakfasts are served daily, and the games room features a pool table and slot machines.
With a central location, just metres from the sandy beach, Gainsborough Hotel is Promenade Hotel is a 15-minute walk from Blackpool Tower. South Pier is a 10-minute walk and North Pier is 15 minutes’ walk away.
Single sex groups are welcome, however Stag and Hen parties cannot be accommodated.
The hotel offers 22 car spaces free to its guests. These spaces are allocated to each guest that arrives and cannot be reserved. The hotel requires that all car keys are handed into reception to enable departure in case of an emergency. Guests are asked to attend reception prior to parking their vehicle.

The staff were very friendly. The Hotel was very clean. It was a buffet style breakfast which is a good idea and was very nice.
Overall for £30 per person per night it was good value for money.

“ The rooms were very basic was'nt as clean as it could have been the tea/coffee tray was full of long black hairs which put us off using the drink facility the best thing about this hotel was the buffet style breakfast
