Having just completed a multi-million pound refurbishment all 145 stylishly decorated bedrooms include Telephone TV Hairdryer and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms offer Sea Views and Spa Baths. Gilbert's restaurant offers a big hearty breakfast light lunches and traditional mouth watering 3-course Dinners. The Albany Bar compliments the restaurant with its warm and cosy seating area and is the perfect place for that relaxing drink or snack. The six conference rooms that are available have first class facilities and hold up to 400 people. WIFI is free to all guests and is available in all public areas of the hotel.

“ Hotel room had bad odour. Rang reception who sprayed room with odour neutralizer. Old, dated hotel.

“ We could only check in rooms at 3pm, this was not good with young children. I requested 2 cots at the time of booking but they never arrived, when more cots did arrive at hotel they was given to other guests who arrived after us. Two nights with no cots and twin babies was not good. The hotel said entertainment however a man playing the organ and same songs is not very entertaining. The hotel is very dated and in need of a make over.

A very friendly hotel with a great atomosphere, in its day must have been a very grand hotel,it still holds alot of character for all to enjoy. Situated in an ideal position just beyond North Pier with trams and buses on hand.
Breakfasts really set you up for the day with plenty of choices to suit all appetites,this hotel i will definitly visit again.

“ hotel rooms were not very clean especially toilet bowl was really not clean at all daughter and husband had room with windows that would not open and air conditioning would not go off room was to hot and stuffy hotel changed room for larger room still window didnt open there was wedding party staying and we had to wait for table for breakfast would not go back to this hotel again

The spacious Boston Premier restaurant is open to the public and the ideal treat or the Castles restaurant is perfect for breakfast lunch and dinner serving sumptuous Table d'Hote meals. In addition there are two bars Conservatory bar a more relaxed setting to enjoy a couple of drinks or so and Copper Face Jack's Bar with large screens showing most sporting events with a lively atmosphere. With over 20 Conference and Banqueting rooms this is the perfect venue for business or pleasure as we can cater for up to 3000 people. “ During our stay at the hotel we was on 4th floor someone who stayed there vandalized the lift on the second floor so we had to walk down the stairs which was not easy due to I have had recentley a total knee replacement and it was difficult for me.

“ Room was fine, although we had to change our 1st room as the flush on the toilet was broken. In the evening told we could not have dinner in restaurant till 8-30pm as it was fully booked, so we had to go out and find somewhere, as we weren't prepared to wait that long.
