“ During our stay at the hotel we was on 4th floor someone who stayed there vandalized the lift on the second floor so we had to walk down the stairs which was not easy due to I have had recentley a total knee replacement and it was difficult for me. we then went out for the day to return and find that the lift had not been repaired there was no way that I could get back up to the room due to very painful knee. before we went out I spoke to a girl on reception but she was not much help to us on the evening when we returned to the hotel after our day out I spoke to a porter who was on the desk and told him there was no way I could get up to our room due to pain of the knee . he kindly give us a room down stairs. We stayed in this room for the night but the room was not very good the lighting was very dull and no nice view so I asked if they had got a better roon in the morning we was then moved to a room on the first floor the other end of the building which was ok. then we had to get all our stuff out of the fourth floor room by the time we done this our day was nearly over. This was a special time as my nephew was celabrating his 50th Birthday we only had a few days there which was spoiled due to all this so we both came home feeling very disapointed by all this that happend .

“ I have stayed there before, so knew what to expect. This visit fine. I had a nice double bedroom (altho' only paid for single) - very quiet on my floor (the 2nd). There were nearly 1000 people in the hotel so all in all they do very well catgering for that number. No problem for me, but the receptionist told everyone to collect their keys on check in at 1530. Absolute bedlam, as you can imagine, with all that number checking in. I played it safe and went for my key at 1630 when the numbers had died down. It is rather far out from the centre of Blackpool where it is all happening. But excellent service by Black Cabs, who have a free phone in the hotel. I think for what we paid, we had very good service and will stay there again. Thankyou for asking.........

“ Room was hot even with the radiator turned off it stayed on, there was a fusty smell in there and it was the pipes were noisey all night. Breakfast was self service so you could eat as much as you like but it really wasn't very nice. On a positive the hotel is in a good location, reasonable price and good family entertainment. This was only based on a one night stay.

Overall the hotel is very good, the meals were good both breakfast and dinner, but you had a long queue to get your food. We thought the use of the big function room was much better than the old dinning room and the entertaintment room. In the room they were using while we there, this meant you could have you dinner and then stay at your table to watch the entertaintment. The entertaintment was very good. The only problem is we had was, we didnt get a list of the entertaintment in the afternoon or early evenings due to us booking with you.
The swimming pool is great, very big and you can stand up at all levels so is good for non swimmings. The only problem was the water in the pool was too cold for children or non swimmers like myself.

Top Tip:
we recomended the restaurtant Papratica Italian. this is on the Gyn square roundabout on the way into blackpool. we had 3 course plus a drink for £9.99 each.
Our hotel is out of blackpool but we knew this. Its not a problem as the bus stops outside the hotel regularly.
At present the trams are not working until end June 2011, this is due to improvements.
