We paid over £500.00p to stay at this hotel for just 4 nights, we were expecting much better. We were first given a 'cupboard' with the room number scrawled on the door, there was not even a toilet roll holder in the bathroom let alone hooks, shelf, shampoo etc. The room was very, very basic, we went to reception and showed Monica Poole our booking details she was astonished that we had paid so much. We were given a choice of keys to inspect rooms. All were of a basic standard but a little better than the first. We took a faily room because there was more space but the fittings were still poor. The restaurant caters largely for coach parties of elderly people, who, incidently get breakfast and an evening meal. We, having paid vast amounts, were only given breakfast. We don't blame the hotel they are catering for a very different market but we should not have been ripped off this way.

“ My friends and i were extremely impressed with this hotel as we were looking for a cheap hostel to stay but came across a special deal from Travel Republic. Spacious and clean rooms, hot showers, close to city centre and beach. Perfect for a short stay in Bournemouth. However, if you are looking to stay at a 4 star hotel, try somewhere else until refurbishments are finished at Heathlands.
