“ We believed we were staying at Ei8ht Brighton Apartments in Upper Rock Gardens, but we were in fact in St Georges Street at their Kemptown apartments, a good half an hour's walk away! We were fine as we are easy going and we will go with the flow, but it would have been nice to be more in town for shopping etc. The apartment itself was good and there were nice little touches of soap, cereals, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee which was great. The apartment may not be suitable for older people or children, as there is a steep concrete staircase to go down before you get to the actually stairs to the apartment. The bedding was nice and clean and the apartment itself was clean, although it stated non-smoking and it smelt of stale smoke when we arrived.
“ Top Tip: If you walk down to the sea front, there is a nice little place near the volleyball courts to have breakfast and lunch and they make super nice smoothies!

“ Great location. Lovely sized room. TV didn't work and the bathroom was very musty, only 1 cup. Other than that we enjoyed everything. Would have been great to have seen some local info - maps etc available at the hotel
“ Top Tip: great pizza restaurant round the corner - and was full, so always a good sign

“ Ensuite twin room was the size of a cupboard with bunk beds, facilities were adequate, not suitable for large or elderly people as space is very limited. breakfast was two small individual cereal boxes and a chewy bar, but tea and coffee available. generally room was what we needed for the night but web site info could be a bit more clearer, as in checking procedure, nobody there to meet and greet you.parking limited alot of permit parking nearby.
