“ The website only shows the public rooms- the restaurant and bar area downstairs.
These are all well appointed and refurbished.
However the bedrooms are not and desperately need refurbuishing.
The carpet was filthy in our room and there was so little room around the end of the bed and the wall with the radiator.
Very disappointing and very overpriced for the condition it was in. We shalll not stay here again.

“ We arrived in Brighton at 10am due to not wanting to hit traffic on our journey. The receptionist told me that hotel car spaces only became available from 12pm and will be issued on a first come first served basis. We decided to go for breakfast and arrived back at the hotel at 11:45am only to find that a lady was being given the last available hotel car park space. Frustrating as we were told not to come back before 12pm!!

We were, however, then offered an early check in, with no extra charge which was great.

Having been impressed with the reception area and outside of the hotel, we were disappointed to see the room we were given was small, with very dated furniture and a few broken items, such as the corner of the mirror, towel rail. Nothing that would ruin our stay, as it was only 1 night, but having paid £140 for the night I expected a better standard of room.

The hotel is located right on the sea front, with a cool childrens play area and paddling pool outside by the sea. The Lanes are about 10mins away, which is ideal. When we were there, the wind was quite bad on the sea front, so walking to the restaurant after spending an hour doing my hair didn't do me any favours.

“ Thought the hotel was nice, friendly reception. The only downside was the size of the double room. It must have been the smallest we have ever stayed in, but for one night it was no problem!!!
