Very Poor

If I had payed the full rate I would have demanded a refund, I reported that my room was cold and the heater was not working to the reception desk. Iwas told the heater would be replaced and the heating for the bed rooms would come on later. The public areas were very warm . It would have been warmer in the corridore out side my room . The television was lower than the bed so if I wanted to use the tv I would have had to sit on the end of the bed to be able to see the screen. The trouser press inside the wardrobe just had a bare wire hanging from it no plug and no where to plug it in if it had been there. I requested some drinks on my return to the hotel . I was informed the bar was closed and there was a 24 hrs liquer shop arround the corner from the hotel . I have stayed in and used many hotels arround Brighton in the past, This by far was the worst I have had the misfortune to use. The breakfast bar left a lot to be desired. . the coffee was very good . No butter to go with the soggy toast . These comments do not reflect on your service for providing the hotel booking.

Booked a room for 3 people, was given a twin room with no 3rd bed made up. aka, sofa! One set of towles for three adults, we was moved to a tripple room after bringing up our issues with reception. This room had two sets of towles and heating in the room was very hard to control. Check out at by 10AM! Or £10 per extra hour. We checked out at 12 noon costing £20. On check out a very spaced out woman took our keys whilst still talking to other staff around behind the reception desk, no eye contact, no how was your stay, no see you soon, no thank you, no have a nice day :-(

Top Tip: Near to the gay bars, what we wanted.

Parking is virtually non exsistent and you are expected to park in nearby streets which were very busy. Took us nearly 30 mins to find a parking space which was then a 10 minute walk away. There are also time restrictions.

NON SMOKING HOTEL. Refurbished sea side hotel in the heart of Brighton and close to the rail station. Large enough to meet both individual and corporate needs we are small enough to guarantee your personal attention. Close to the Brighton Centre and Churchill Square shopping centre. Magnificent sea view. Group bookings by prior arrangement only. We only have a very limited space carpark for 11 cars on a first come first served basis (£15 chargeable). Free WiFi conection through complete building.

small room, even smaller bed, which I could put up with this but not even a proper double bed is unforgivable at the at the price really especially when the room would easily accommodated a slightly larger bed. no full bathroom, small shoehorned in shower-room, basin unusable unless you want to get wet! way too many up and down stairs.

Good location if you are on a stag or hen do. very noisy at night and did not settle down till around 3am! Hotel is tired and fairly basic. Clean but not special and expensive for it! Don't think I would stay there again. Staff ok.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but is let down by a few things - normally I love full English breakfasts, but the sausages were pretty horrible and only having hardboiled eggs as standard was not good, although you could request others.

I had a fabulous stay the room was comfortable and service at the hotel equal to a 5 star hotel experience. Staff could not do enough for us, the bar was cosy and snug and we enjoyed cocktails which tasted divine. A small boutique hotel with character and style would definately recommend this accommodation
