“ Friendly and helpful staff. Food was good. basic room but adequate for one night. Some noise in the night - not sure where it was coming from, sounded like banging water pipes and door slamming. Clean.

Room clean, not en-suite, but bathroom / toilet very close to room. Noisy! But this is a public house offering rooms, and we stayed Friday and Saturday nights, so only to be expected. Bar staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a disappointment - they offer a lovely breakfast to people paying £3.50 (the builder's breakfast) which offered a damn sight more than we got! One rasher of bacon, one sausage, one egg, tinned tomato - a token really, when a bigger, better breakfast was being eaten all around us.
Otherwise no problems at all. On bus routes to Brighton and surrounding area, with a Tesco Express less than one minute away, and two petrol stations within sight.

“ The hotel was pub based. It served meals in the restaurant and drinks as required. It was beside a traffic light crossroads, but the noise level was OK.
“ Top Tip: I only booked one night so had no time to explore.

There were no en suite facilities in fact the communal toilet did not have a lock or bolt on the door!
The breakfast was good and well served.
“ Top Tip: Brighton racecourse was the only feature that was near the hotel. Plus very good walks, in more warmer times.
