Express By Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre

“ The hotel was staffed by helpful people who worked hard to welcome guests and make them feel at home. The room was satisfactory. The hotel was let down however by poor breakfasts. I understand that there is a need to keep costs down, but the quality of the food and drinks was embarrassingly poor. Heaven knows what foreign guests would have made of it.

“ Recommended for anyone staying 1-3 nights. This hotel is basic but comfortable. It's conveniently located just opposite Bristol Temple Meads Station, so if you're on a short break, it's easy to commute to points of interest like Bath. Likewise, It's only a 15 minute walk into the city centre, and if you need to get to the North of the City (areas like Clifton), you can catch buses outside the railway station.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good, and included hot items like sausage, eggs and beans. The rooms were clean and equipped with a TV, hair dryer, telephone, tea & coffee making facilities and a nice en-suite (with powerful shower). My only gripe was that the sound proofing of my room wasn't very good, as I could hear conversations (word for word) coming from the next room.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay here, it was definitely good value for money!

“ A little too far out of the Bristol city centre and very noisy due to position on very busy round-about. The car park lights dazzled in through the windows in the middle of the night.

Would have been nice to have a few free parking spaces at the hotel.

Lamp on the desk did not work.

Good breakfast and very nice girls on reception.

“ Top Tip: Visited a very nice pub about five minutes walk from the hotel, heading towards the city centre, called 'The Hole in the Wall'

“ a good hotel clean and well looked after breakfast was too late a start at 7am to take part off as needed 6am breakfast due to commitments that day ;would use again ;
