“ The rooms we were offered were very nice but unfortunately there were too many stairs for one of our party to negotiate and I had asked for a walk in shower. We ended up in the room with the odd shower which others have mentioned. Our friends room was better but the shower was in the bath and the disabled person in our party could not use it.
“ Top Tip: Very close to the guided bus into Cambridge which was very useful.

Beautiful location. Great potential but the owners need to invest in the infrastructure. The room was a good size but needs a little more than a lick of paint. The bathroom was also a good size but the shower did not function and was out of te 1960's and the wall paper was peeling off. We only ate one breakfast but for what we paid this was exceptionally poor.
The staff were not able to communicate well and the service was only average.
It was a great pity as the gardens and position were great.
The TV was not working properly and the lighting was poor.

Top Tip:
The surrounding country side is great for all sorts of activities and the Anchor hotel and restaurant in Sutton is excellent.
Visiotrs should go to Ely and not just to Cambridge.
Messing about on the rivers is easy and great fun from this location
