The staff gave a warm and friendly welcome and even asked if we preferred to have ground flor or 1st floor room.
Room was very modern and new with excellent bathroom and bed was very comfortable as well.
The breakfast was buffet and plenty of food available, although a little disappointed that no bacon was on menu, but still the eggs and sausages were cooked well.
All in all we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and was the first time to stay in a Holiday Inn and will certainly use Holiday Inn again on our next stop over.

“ We enjoyed a most pleasant stay and were able to visit France, Canterbury, Rochester and coastal towns. The rooms are well planned, the staff are very helpful and breakfast is very good. A problem with the taps in our room was dealt with immediately. It was our second visit and we certainly hope to visit again.
“ Top Tip: Proximity to Dover and cross-channel ferries is a plus factor.

“ Very clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast OK pity there was no bacon,the layout of the breakfast food area was not ideal(to many people and not enough room).The sign at the enterance was small not clearly seen, needs to be larger.

We were only there for a night, we arrived late and tired and left early in the morning so not able to comment about breakfast.
The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and size was good. Simple but with all we needed.

The Best Western Abbots Barton hotel has been recently refurbished and is located only 10 minutes walk from Canterbury Cathedral theatres and shops yet has ample free car parking.Full payment is required on check-in.

It is only 10 minutes drive from Channel Tunnel, 20 minutes from Dover ferries and Eurostar in Ashford.
