“ Eexcellent, helpful staff. Resturant pricey but pre-booking deals available and two pubs near by. Swimming pool ans Spa excellent. Only complaint was that the remote for the tv in the room did not work and although once notified a replacement was sent very promptly thaty one did not work either and both were missing the battery covers which may pose a hazard for younger children.

The Ship Hotel is situated on the delightful parade of the gentile village of Parkgate on the Wirral Peninsula which is within easy reach of Chester and Liverpool city centre. Our rooms offer clean warm and comfortable accommodation at budget prices offering great value for money. The Ship prides itself on its relaxed and friendly atmosphere and where you will always be made to feel most welcome. The parade and the hotel enjoy fabulous views over the Dee estuary (famed for its abundance of wildlife) to the coastline and mountains of North Wales. All of our 24 rooms are en-suite all have digital television tea and coffee making facilities. “ Some parts of this hotel have been updated and some is still to do. What is done is to a high standard and what is still to do is still comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Had dinner one night with my family and the food was good. Nice atmosphere
