A reasonable quality hotel
Nice room with excellent breakfast
Drinks very over priced. £18.50 for a bottle of house white wine !!
Lots of functions happening during our stay, felt like a gatecrasher. Squeezing up a red carpet to a narrow reception in front of a bride with our cases ! Passing along the corridor where guests were waiting expectantly for the married couple !

Cranage Hall itself is beautiful, from the moment you walk up the stairs to reception, to the decor inside. We only stayed B&B so only sampled the breakfast, but we could not fault it. It was buffet style, so you could go up as many times as you wanted and there was a good selection of breakfasts, which suited our young children. We didn't get to try the facilities as they were for over 18's only.
Our family room was spacious with double bed and a double sofa bed for the boys and a clean ensuite bathroom (with bath). The only downfall was the noise at night when guests were going back to their rooms, talking and banging doors. You could virtually hear every word from the room next to ours and this disturbed the children.
“ Top Tip: Were not their long enough. Went straight from home to Chester Zoo (which is great) and onto the hotel. On vacation, we went to Cheshire Oaks.
