  • The hotel was good value for money. We had a good meal in the restaurant and the whole experience was reasonably efficient. The only issue we had was the bill in the restaurant had 2 errors on it but this was corrected without any issues.

The rooms are a little tired. Bathroom was surface clean but would benefit from steam clean.

Nice view from bedrooms.
Very welcoming staff.

If you want suggestions for food, although food was good, you could offer fresh fruit instead of tinned. Eggs were usually hard. Overall good selection.

The hotel was very comfortable, with lovely surroundings. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only small downside - we felt the bathroom could do with a little updating. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Top Tip: Nice friendly local pub just down the road serving great home cooked food (espcially the garlic mushrooms!) The Little Owl (though the sign is actually of a Horse - we soon discovered this was the name of the horse!)
Good Italian Restaurant in the center - Ask Italian
