“ Was pleased we stayed here the staff were all friendly, the pool was nice and quiet, nice bedroom, breakfast was amazing help your self buffet, the only down side was we had our 2 & half year old boy with us and they did not do any children's food and felt a little out of place.
“ Top Tip: do not take your games console as the tv is mounted into the so you cant plug anything into it

We hadn't stayed at the Hallmark before so weren't sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised!
The room was admittedly quite small (i.e. not a lot of room around the bed, and not a lot of room around the bathroom), however:
- everything was spotlessly clean
- the bed was very comfortable
- the rooms had been clearly refurbished recently
- everything worked (!)
- the hotel staff were very professional and attentive
- the food (breakfast and room service) was really excellent.
We only stayed one night and didn't have a chance to visit the spa..., but we did take a look around and the facilities were very impressive.
Also, there was plenty of parking.
We'll definitely be visiting again. :)

“ The hotel Reception, restaurant, swimming pool, spa and bar areas are great but unfortunately that's where it ends. The rooms are nicely decorated but the walls are paper thin, you can always hear guests in other rooms and corridors. There was no hot water in the bathroom during my whole stay and all reception could say was sorry but they didn't know what the problem was (although the hotel manager did refund all my food/bar expenses which were on the hotel bill, which was a nice gesture). The hotel is way way too warm and there is no air con in the rooms. The general staff either need more training or the hotel needs more staff, the level of service was poor and were kept waiting a long time to be served in the restaurant. The hotel looks impressive at the start but that's where it ends, which is unfortunate, as I really wanted to say more positive things about it. If the hotel improved the sound proofing of the bedroom walls, installed air con and hired more staff then I'd stay again but that just isn't going to happen, so I won't be returning.
