“ This is a lovely comfortable hotel. The staff are very helpful and a credit to the hotel. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and not had the standard of service we experienced here. The leisure facilities were good and the area very clean. Food and drink not too expensive. It is a short bus or train ride into edinburugh. Would highly recommend and intend to return.

“ Excellent. Friendly. Rooms well appointed. Every little detail was thought of. Breakfast cooked to order. Farm location which may not suit everyone. Not easy to find in the dark. A location map should be provided showing directions from Gifford, also the postcode, but that proved to be not very helpful.

Full Scottish breakfast will set you up for the day. Only negative point - toast could have done with an extra minute in the toaster. :-) Excellent value, will definitely return.
