The BEST WESTERN Kings Manor Hotel is a family owned and run hotel in the eastern suburbs of Edinburgh. The hotel is convenient for the city centre and yet only a short walk to the beach. The hotel offers 95 bedrooms with 3 stars and a 78% grade from The AA. Regular and frequent public transport links the hotel to all the city's attractions. Lauders Restaurant offers tasty hot and cold breakfast and an interesting a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner. Our Options Bistro offers snacks and more substantial meals from 10 am to 10 pm seven days a week. BarZest is our main bar which offers a wide range of beers wines and other drinks in a friendly atmosphere shared with our locals'. Fountain Spa Leisure Club has a 20 metre pool sauna steam room beauty therapy suite aerobics suite gym and tennis. All facilities are available free of charge to residents (charge for therapies age restriction on some facilities). “ Very peaceful location but only 2 miles from Gifford. Excellent accommodation, very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was more than expected and delicious. Would recommend for anyone touring the area and looking for a relaxing place to base themselves. We were made to feel very welcome.

Overlooking the West Links Golf Course and the Firth of Forth the hotel is situated just half an hour from Edinburgh. The Macdonald Marine Hotel and Spa has recently undergone a multi million pound refurbishment returning the hotel to its former glory! This Victorian building is located at the heart of East Lothian's golfing coast. The hotel overlooks the North Berwick Championship Golf Course as well as Firth of Forth. With the addition of a magnificent Spa with an 18-metre pool the hotel will be the natural choice for golf and leisure guests.The well proportioned public areas and many of the bedrooms enjoy the spectacular view. The bedrooms come in a variety of sizes some are impressively large. The Craigleith Restaurant offers a mix of Scottish and International cuisine whilst the Links Bar and Sea View Lounge serves a range of light meals throughout the day.
“ Enjoyed a perfect short break here. Having purchased 2 rooms at short notice and very well priced, we expected to have basic rooms at the back of the hotel, so were delighted to have 2 excellent rooms, 1 very large with east facing sea view and view of Berwick Law.

“ Beautiful house in a lovely setting ....... once you can find it! No signs to direct you so, after circumnavigating the globe for a while, we had to rely on helpful passers by to direct us! The house is lovely and beautifully decorated but there are a lot of stairs to negotiate so perhaps not ideal for older guests or those with disabilities.

“ The room was basic, but fine and provision was made for an early breakfast on our first day which was helpful. Unfortunately there were no staff at all at breakfast on either day, neither in the restaurant nor on Reception which seemed a little odd, especially as the restauant was not that easy to find if, like us, you were staying in the lodges.
