The BEST WESTERN Kings Manor Hotel is a family owned and run hotel in the eastern suburbs of Edinburgh. The hotel is convenient for the city centre and yet only a short walk to the beach. The hotel offers 95 bedrooms with 3 stars and a 78% grade from The AA. Regular and frequent public transport links the hotel to all the city's attractions. Lauders Restaurant offers tasty hot and cold breakfast and an interesting a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner. Our Options Bistro offers snacks and more substantial meals from 10 am to 10 pm seven days a week. BarZest is our main bar which offers a wide range of beers wines and other drinks in a friendly atmosphere shared with our locals'. Fountain Spa Leisure Club has a 20 metre pool sauna steam room beauty therapy suite aerobics suite gym and tennis. All facilities are available free of charge to residents (charge for therapies age restriction on some facilities). “ We booked this hotel a week before going as a Xmas treat as the Xmas markets are on in Edinburgh. We arrived Friday and the hotel is easy to find, being on a main through road but set back. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, even giving us a larger top floor room as I wanted to upgrade to a club room (£25) but due to a Xmas party, was unable to.

This Victorian building is located at the heart of East Lothian's golfing coast. The hotel overlooks the North Berwick Championship Golf Course as well as Firth of Forth. With the addition of a magnificent Spa with an 18-metre pool the hotel will be the natural choice for golf and leisure guests.The well proportioned public areas and many of the bedrooms enjoy the spectacular view. The bedrooms come in a variety of sizes some are impressively large. The Craigleith Restaurant offers a mix of Scottish and International cuisine whilst the Links Bar and Sea View Lounge serves a range of light meals throughout the day.

“ The room was basic, but fine and provision was made for an early breakfast on our first day which was helpful. Unfortunately there were no staff at all at breakfast on either day, neither in the restaurant nor on Reception which seemed a little odd, especially as the restauant was not that easy to find if, like us, you were staying in the lodges.

“ Having not been able to have my first choice of hotel in Gifford I am now so so glad because this hotel is excellent and I feel sure that the new owners will continue to improve this establishment. I look forward to a return visit within a short space of time. Great meals and very helpful staff. No complaints whatsoever!!!!
