'Aonach Mor' guest house is a stunning four star BandB run by a Scottish couple with an enthusiastic knowledge of the city.Set in an accessible area of Edinburgh - only one mile from the castle - the location is about as close to the city center as you can get without the late night noise. Regular buses will take you into the center or a taxi will cost you around £5. If you enjoy walking you can take a variety of interesting routes which will take around twenty minutes.Our breakfasts are freshly prepared using only the finest local ingredients.Hope to see you soon!Calum and Jen

Clean and comfortable single room, shared shower room on next floor.
In mornign rang bell to check out and leave keys-after 3 rings and 5 minuted I had to leave to catch bus-at 7.55am not too early I would have thought, another couple were also there.
“ Top Tip: Great for buses into centre of Edinburgh

It was a great stay, The beds were very comfortable, rooms had lots of facilities, breakfast was lovely (lots of choice) **** quality - also the staff were very friendly.
However, there were 3 floors and no lifts - so the stairs may be unsuitable to older people or those with mobility problems.
“ Top Tip: There was a nice little restaurant just round the corner from the B & B which was very nice. When we went, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival was on so very bustling with lots going on -WE WOULD ADVISE TO GO IN AUGUST
