“ Hotel was very stylish and comfortable. It was ideally located and the staff were very helpful and polite. The restaurant was superb as was the bar. It had all you wanted in the room and anything else that was asked for was done straight away.
“ Top Tip: A meal at the in house restaurant Cucina is a must. Grassmarket is lovely for dinner and a drink.

Lovely hotel, really colourful and with a designer feel to it. I booked this for my partner's birthday hoping for something a little bit special and different, and that's what we got!
On arrival the check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready early so we could check in straight away. The room was impressive, a lovely big shower, nice view down a winding street (we were in one of the standard rooms at the back) and a free mini bar with soft drinks and some crisps.
We had a drink at the bar (expensive but great atmosphere) and breakfast in the morning (delicious eggs benedict and lots of choice at the buffet).
I've taken off a point because there were some crumbs on the floor that the housekeepers had missed, and the movie channels weren't working properly. All in all though, a lovely stay.

“ Top Tip: loads of bars and restaurants but notably The City Cafe is great for drinks and food with a nice atmosphere
