“ I was very impressed with the girls on reception very helpful and it was my daughters birthday and they left in our room a card and free drinks, the only gripe i had was the bar meal was not good value and my daughter asked for a Greek salad which came just as a bag of lettuce and a little cheese when we asked about tomatoes and other things that should be in it they were very good and took it away and brought it back with all the right things which should have happened the first time this put us off using the restaurant in the evening, but there were plenty of lovely restaurant about, the breakfast was first class and the location of this hotel is excellent overall had awonderful stay so thankyou Travel Republic for a good deal

“ A perfect location for our visit to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Close to venues, close to restaurants and within a short (though very steep) walk to the Royal Mile. The room was very comfortable, the staff very friendly and always helpful. It was also great to be able to have a swim every morning before breakfast.

The Holiday Inn Express - Edinburgh City Centre is ideally located with in a five minute walk from Princes Street Edinburgh Waverley station and St. Andrews Bus station with a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. Situated in Edinburgh's New Town it is the perfect location for both business and leisure visits. This Georgian listed building offers a 161 modern and refreshing bedrooms a welcoming lounge bar and business centre. Our complimentary continental breakfast is available for all guests and is served in our 'Great Room' above reception. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with power showers and wireless internet access. The hotel has 9 car parking spaces that are allocated on a first come first served basis. These spaces cost £10 per night and if you have any access needs please call us once you have made a booking. “ I felt that this hotel was fairly average considering the price. The location is great but the staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. Room was quite small and the breakfast was sub standard in my opinion.
