The casual and contemporary styled Bisque Bar and Brasserie is open from morning until late serving bar drinks coffees and snacks and a full brasserie menu. Bisque Brasserie offers casual gourmet dining at lunch and dinner. Major tourist attractions are within easy reach either by a 15 minute walk to the city centre through Bruntsfield Links park or 5 minutes by city bus from outside the hotel. “ The receptionists were very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance to the city attractions. I would definately return to this hotel.
“ Top Tip: Montpeliers bar was just 2 minutes across the road from the hotel and was very pleasant to drink and eat at. It had a variety of foods ranging from snacks and sharing platters to full meals at reasonable prices.

“ Hotel interior is somewhat dated, but our room was clean and quiet, the reception friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good, too. The hotel is in a nice residential area, with some local nightlife, i.e. bars and restaurant. The walk from the hotel to the city center through the park is very pleasant. Alternatively, one can walk along the roads through the Tollcross area, which is a rather run down district.
“ Top Tip: There is an outstanding Thai restaurant two minutes walk up the road towards Tollcross. A bit further along there is an independent art cinema with a lively bar. The other way along Bruntsfield Place there are a number of bars, restaurants, cafes, and small shops only a short walk from the hotel. We went to two of restaurants and liked them both. We liked the option of eating out near the hotel rather than in the city center after a long day's sightseeing.

“ Excellent one night stay in the Best Western Bruntsfield Hotel. Near the Meadows and plenty pubs/restaurants in the area nearby.
“ Top Tip: The Golf Bar nearby - plenty tvs to watch the World Cup and you can also play a round of pitch and putt.
