Check-in date:

Nice hotel and very convenient for the railway station. We had 3 single rooms which were maybe in need of a little TLC but very comfortable although a bit noisy as they overlooked the main street. The public areas were all well maintained but the corridors to the rooms needed some work. Lots of choice at the breakfast buffet - we had an issue with the milk but that was soon resolved. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. Overall good value for money.

Top Tip: For a fabulous meal in superb surroundings visit the Dome restaurant

Freindly and very helpful staff.
Rooms very clean and all you want...iron and board tea/coffe/kettle, complementary toiletries ect.
Very comfortable beds
Top class breakfast..In addtion to the cooked breakfast which I have to say was dry cured bacon...a selection of seeds, nuts cerals, peantut butter, marmite bread board selection and so it goes on.
I would not even consider looking for another hotel when we return.

We was a group of 4 middle aged well travelled adults that would only use 4 and 5 star accomodation. Thank You for exceeding all are needs.

Top Tip: Mr.Mcgreor resturant. ..cross the raod at the front of the hotal turn right at the bottom onto the Royal Mile and it is about 100yds on the left, absolute stunning food at very prices.

The staff at this hotel are very professional and welcoming, nothing is too much problem for them. We left and item of clothing behind the desk rather that go all the way back to our room and it was in a sealed back waiting in our room on our return. The room was spacious and very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable....after a day up and down the Royal Mile it was just what we needed. We did not get a chance to visit the pool this time, but on our last visit it was fine. Our only gripe...all be it a small one was the dining set up. Probably because it was Christmas and a huge Christmas Party was taking place we were unable to book dinner in the Hotel on arrival. Also at breakfast the dining room was packed and it was a bit of a free for all, there was plenty of food and it was replenished quickly but our table was not cleared and I had to ask staff on numerous occasions for milk, condiments etc. etc. before they eventually arrived.

Top Tip: Yes we found a fab restaurant just a couple of doors away and next to Argos (Ooops can't remember the name). It is Italian with huge pizza ovens and a great view of the bridge and Princess Street. The food was supherb and the service was brilliant. The prices were good too. Good top quality Restaurant. Highly recommend.
