The apartments are located in a castle-like building from the Middle Ages. The building includes a 6-storey wing as well as a 3-storey neighbouring wing. It offers a total of 5 comfortable apartments as well as a lobby with a cloakroom. In addition, guests will find a traditional English pub in the building. Furthermore, there is a laundry service available.The Royal Mile is the backbone of Edinburgh's charming and romantic Old Town, running from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyrood House. The apartments are located along or within 250 metres of this historic thoroughfare and in the very heart of Edinburgh.Each apartment is decorated in its own unique style. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Bathrooms are private and fitted with a powerful shower and bath. The fully fitted kitchens include utensils, a toaster, oven, microwave and washing machine. The apartments all have a comfortable lounge with a TV and DVD player. Many apartments have additional futon beds for extra guests. Business facilities, a telephone, fax and a safe are all available at the hotel's central office. These services may incur additional charges.From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street: take East Field Road when leaving the airport and follow signs for the city centre/Edinburgh Zoo. When reaching the end of Eastfield Road turn left onto the A8. Go across Drumbrae Roundabout and then turn right on Roseburn Terrace. Carry straight on and turn left into Haymarket. Following this turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street and then a right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. The hotel is at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side. From the airport by bus: the airport bus departs every 15 minutes and takes guests to the Waverly Bridge terminus. It is roughly a 10-minute walk from here.Check-in and key collection is from 3 pm to 8 pm (check-out is at 10 am) from the main office at 22 Annandale Street, EH7 4AN, Edinburgh. Guests receive their key here and information about where the apartment is situated. Self check-out is standard in the apartments so guests do not need to return to the main office on the day of check-out (credit card details must be provided to secure this facility). Late check-in/early check-in and late check-out times are available with a charge. Bed linen and hand towels are provided. Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation. Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform the hotel prior to arrival.
