The Holiday Inn Express - Edinburgh City Centre is ideally located with in a five minute walk from Princes Street Edinburgh Waverley station and St. Andrews Bus station with a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. Situated in Edinburgh's New Town it is the perfect location for both business and leisure visits. This Georgian listed building offers a 161 modern and refreshing bedrooms a welcoming lounge bar and business centre. Our complimentary continental breakfast is available for all guests and is served in our 'Great Room' above reception. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with power showers and wireless internet access. The hotel has 9 car parking spaces that are allocated on a first come first served basis. These spaces cost £10 per night and if you have any access needs please call us once you have made a booking. Alternatively our guests can park in Greenside NCP this is accross the road from the hotel on Greenside Row. Check in time is from 2pm onwards and check-out must be by 11am. If you arrive to or depart from Edinburgh out with these times we can store you luggage free of charge. Please come to the Reception which is manned 24 hours

“ Staff friendly and helpful. Arrived at 12.00pm and we were allowed to check in immediately although official check in time is 2.00pm. Only downside is that dining room is a bit small. Breakfast can be extremely busy.

“ Hotel was centrally located and within easy reach of restaurants and entertainment. It was clean and tidy but with just a little extra attention to detail would be perfect. Staff were courteous.
“ Top Tip: Situated right across the street from the Edinburgh Playhouse so great choice if you are going to see a show.

It is a lovely hotel and really enjoyed our stay, my only disappointment was the breakfast they would be better providing the opportunity for people to have a full scottish breakfast.
Would definetly stay there again and use this website to book another break away.

“ Very impressed with my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and there was a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms. Breakfast was nice the usual hotel breakfast. Beds were quite soft. The location of the of the hotel was brilliant so close to everything.
“ Top Tip: Bar Napoli on Hanover street had great service and beautiful food.
