“ Lovely hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very pleasant but watch out for the wooden floor. Walking from the carpeted area to the wood floor in socks is treacherous - my husband slipped but I fell and hurt my hip. Otherwise, the room was great!
“ Top Tip: We ate at No.1 at the Balmoral hotel - its more expensive than many but a wonderful treat.

I expected more from a 5* hotel. Although the staff were very attentive and efficient, our room was a disappointment. It did not look anything like the rooms advertised on the website. The furnishings were nice but our room had a false concertina style wall and a foldaway bed. It had gaps at the top and could hear a pin drop in the room next door. It looked like it could be used as a conference room as well as a bedroom. We had to tune in our own TV as it did not work. Not what i would call a luxury hotel room unfortunately. This was a shame because the main hotel was really nicely decorated.
We would not return.
