Made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Clean, comfortable room on the fourth floor. Tea/coffee available. Breakfast was reasonable, served by pleasant staff. A comfortable hotel which I recommend.
Very handy for for the shops and the excellent show we went to at the playhouse in the evening. Would be delighted to stay again.

My only warning to older and disabled people is that there are a lot of steep stairs.

“ Very clean rooms, breakfast ok but portions could have been better. Tea and coffee in bedrooms not stocked up daily. Bar area rather confusing, had to ask receptionist if you required a drink, other than that a very nice hotel would recommend it.

Packed ice on footpath leading from hotel to main road, only cleared on hotel doorstep, difficulty in getting to and fro with luggage.
No soap in bathroom.
Room and bathroom looking a little'tired'. Scuffed walls in bedroom, cracked tiles in bathroom.
Room and bed warm and comfortable.
Public area smart and welcoming.
Breakfast lacking variety in continental pastries but otherwise good, which would be expected if not included in price. (£12.50!)
Staff very pleasant and helpfu.
