This specially designed complex offers secure furnishings for women, as well as quiet peaceful rooms upon request. Guests can relax, meet friends and have a drink in the stylish and hip City-Cafe-Bar.The hostel is located on Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile, just a few minutes' walk from Waverley railway station and the airport link bus stop.All 132 rooms feature a private bathroom and all the amenities world travellers and backpackers need. Every room includes a safe, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, toiletries, hypoallergenic bedding, mobile phone chargers and electronic key cards. Bunk beds, shampoo and conditioner are also available.The main roads towards the city centre lead to Prince's Street, and from here the Royal Mile and the hostel are just 2 minutes away. On reaching the western end of Prince's Street, coming from the West, the one-way-system leads guests northwards to Queen Street, and via the John Lewis roundabout onto Leith Street. Drive towards the South over North Bridge, turn left onto the High Street, then take the first right onto Niddry Street, left onto Cowgate and left onto Blackfriars Street.Check in: 15h. Accomodation was basic but clean, just what you would want from a hostel. However with linen, towels and basic toiletries its great. Facilities in hostel were great although arrangement for wifi were not clear. Location is perfect, just off the royal mile and a few minutes from the train station. staff were helpful and really friendly.
Will always stay here when visiting Edinburgh.
“ Top Tip: With the money you've saved on your accomodation treat yourself to a meal at the North Bridge Brassarie, in the Scotsman Hotel. Really very special.

“ Fantastic hostel and central location. Clean, great for a night out in Edinburgh and only a short walk from the Waverley train station.
“ Top Tip: Three Sisters pub is very busy but great atmosphere, only a 3 min walk along the road from the hostel. The grassmarket is close by and there are plenty of lovely places to eat on the royal mile (2min walk away!)

“ The hostel was great - really clean, friendly staff, good bar and breakfast. It was very conveniently located but was quite noisy at night so may not be suitable for young children.
“ Top Tip: The Buffalo Grill restaurant on Potterrow (just off Brisow square) had excellent steak and jambalaya. Its quite small, bring your own bottle and seems to be very popular with the university. When asking for directions a couple of people commented that it was fantastic. It was reasonably priced and the steak was great!
