“ I am sorry to say that although we had a good time in Edinburgh, i was very disapointed in the facilities available at the hotel, especially as we were booked in on club level. When we arrived at the hotel they informed us that we had no access to the club lounge on that day because the England Rugby Team had private access to it.

“ impressive building, very friendly and helpful staff but decor in some places looking a little tired. Spa treatments first class but pool halfed in size due to children's swimming lessons. Breakfast top notch. Parking arrangements a little inconvenient but overall a very enjoyable stay.

“ I felt that this hotel was fairly average considering the price. The location is great but the staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. Room was quite small and the breakfast was sub standard in my opinion.
