Red House is an AA 2 star family run hotel located one mile from Exeter City Centre in the village of Whipton. Offering quality accommodation and a friendly service the hotel is ideal for exploring Dartmoor and Exmoor or visiting Cornwall and the Eden Project. Our restaurant features an extensive a la carte menu as well as a daily lunchtime carvery (except Saturdays). We also have a bar for guests and non-residents with a selection of beers wines spirits and cocktails and a Sunday quiz night. Exeter’s major attractions include the cathedral historic quay & guildhall. The beautiful Crealey Park is also nearby and well worth a visit. Exeter Airport is only 15 miles away & safe car parking can be arranged.

All our rooms are well appointed clean and furnished to a high standard. The rooms are ensuite and equipped with TV hospitality tray and ironing facilities for your convenience. WIFI is available in all rooms and public areas at a small charge.

We have a fully stocked bar and spacious restaurant to cater for a wide range of tastes. Througout the year and in the summer months in particular we host a series of activities for example bbqs and live music events. We host a quiz every week which guests and non-guests alike can be involved with.
