The Rob Roy Guest House

The Rob Roy is a 7 bedroom bed & breakfast Guest House with 3 bedrooms en suite plus free WIFI. We are situated only 10 to 15 minutes down hill walk to Folkestone Harbour beaches the town centre & resturants etc. It is only 10 drive minutes from the Channel Tunnel and 20 minutes from the Dover ferries and the Eurostar passenger trains at Ashford. We are also perfectly positioned to explore the Garden of England and its many attractions for example: beautiful beaches and promenades historic castles coastal parks The North Downs Way Folkestone race course wild life parks The Battle of Britain Memorial and museum Dover Castle and much more! A warm welcome awaits you from Alan and Sue who offer you a comfortable cosy stay with a fine English breakfast to see you on your way! Cooked breakfast weekdays is from 8 - 9am or from 7am by request weekends from 8.30 - 9.30am. A buffet breakfast is supplied for those guests leaving earlier; especially on a Sunday. Please Note: We now operate a no smoking policy; however smoking is allowed outside on the first floor front veranda. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement in Room No1 only a fully refurbished ground floor ensuite room with door leading to the Rob Roy owner’s private garden where 'with prior consent' you may sit outside to smoke in your own little patio area; or let your pet roam free. Children cyclists motorcyclists and workmen are also very welcome at The Rob Roy. Check-In time: From 1300 and Check-Out time: 1030. Accommodation is available throughout the year with the exception of Christmas (24th - 26th December) WHEN BOOKING please enter an approx time of arrival under 'SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS' to ensure we are available to meet you! ALSO: Please ensure you pick the correct choice of room for your party ie: FAMILY ROOM 2 Adults 1 Child. If you only have 3 in the room = £65. DO NOT PICK for example: 2 Adults 3 Children if you are only 3 persons OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED

All rooms comfortably furnished. Complete with towels complimentary soap sachets etc tea & coffee making facilities colour TV's with freeview radio alarms. Hot & cold water & central heating. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement but only in Room No1 a ground floor ensuite room leading to our private garden where after informing us first you may let your pet roam free.

VEHICLE PARKING: We have limited space on our forecourt for 3 guest cars on a first come first serve basis you may also park on the road outside the guest house by arrangement with us. We can normally always accommodate motorcycles. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement but only in Room No1 a ground floor ensuite room leading to the garden. Mobility Description:
The Rob Roy is a 7 bedroom detached Guest House of 1907 era. We are however located on a sloping road with steps into the house. Access dimensions are in our full access statement on each of www.therobroyguesthouse.co.uk web pages The rooms are set on 3 levels; one double ensuite is on the ground floor. 4 more rooms are on the first floor and the last 2 are on the top floor. Main Entrance & Reception • There is a fixed grab rail on either side of the steps. The main step leading to the front door has a height of 19 cm. There are two further steps of 7 cm and 14 cm. • We have a double outer door (kept unlocked) which can be opened to a width of 100 cm. The inner main locked door gap is 85 cm wide. The door step into the entrance hall is 14cm high. • All areas in the guest house are carpeted except the toilets and shower rooms on the upper floors which have waterproof none slip flooring. • The reception area has an internal bell/buzzer for guests booked in.

• 3 menus available all featuring orange juice or grapefruit a choice of cereals or porridge toast & choice of tea or coffee. Full English breakfast features bacon sausage tomato beans & choice of eggs. Vegetarian breakfast features vegetarian sausage a choice of eggs & fruit or herb tea. Continental breakfast features ham cheese and tomato with toast or currant buns. Breakfast is 8:00 to 9:00 weekdays and 8:30 to 9:30 weekends & public holidays. Earlier by arrangement.

Directions:
On exit road past the Total petrol station well past it bear left up slip road to Folkestone. Turn right at Traffic lights continue to the Roundabout. Take 3rd left A20 to Folkestone & Dover. At roundabout bear left onto the M20 motorway come off at next Junction 13. Go over the motorway. Left at roundabout follow signs to 'the harbour 3 more roundabouts take 3rd left for 'the harbour' along Hill Road at its end you bear right joining Dover Road. We are down on the right past Joyes Road.;
