Our executive room was on the top floor (no lift) between the turrets. Spacious, good shower but with sloped ceilings - more like a loft conversion. Not the sort of room we expected from the building.
Scottish breakfast had no oatcakes, potato scones or lorne sausage, could have been any country but was still very good.
We had dinner in the bar, excellent.

“ Great levels of customer service. Stairs were a bit of a challenge with luggage! Food superb and reasonably priced. Loads of character at this hotel. definitely come again.
