This hotel was within walking distance of the O2 Academy and Argyle Street.
Due to weather we decided to eat in the Hotel restaurant, the food was fresh and very good quality. The hot breakfast and freshly prepared omellette were a welcomed treat after a night out till the early hours.
The staff at recepton and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable and clean.

“ The last time I stayed at this hotel it was the Golden Tulip and it was very good. It is now a Premier Inn and the standards are still high. The only problem was that the lift was broken and this was a problem for older or less fit residents.
“ Top Tip: Not far to walk to the "Merchant City" or Glasgow centre. Just across the Albert Bridge, up the Salt Market and turn left at the Tron Clock. The pub to go to in the "Merchant City" is the Blackfriars, real ale and foreign beers.

“ I found this hotel superior to a Travel Lodge hotel I stayed in last year. I also found the breakfast option excellent.
“ Top Tip: The Citizen Theatre was a real found and my family enjoyed the production of "A Million Tiny Plays of Britain". This theatre is just behind the hotel and very handy indeed. We also had a lovely lunch at the Willow Tearooms which is situated among the main shops in Glasgow.
