“ Overall the hotel was good value for money. Very good, efficient and freindly staff. The building, rooms and fixtures were a little 'tired' looking but clean. Really excellent breakfast. Two niggles..... the bed was terrible.....(enforced intimacy), and very uncomfortable. The TV couldn't be tuned properly to any station to get a good picture!
“ Top Tip: Good place to use as a base to explore Glasgow or some lovely countryside around the west coast area around Ayr.

When you arrive by road at the hotel you think you may have made a mistake as it looks a little dirty and nothing like the picture. But don't let that put you off! Inside it is a very different picture. The decor is okay, could do with a spruce up, the dining room is excellent, the rooms were comfortable although maybe a little too hot.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and made our stay all the better.
At the end of the day it was exceedingly good value for money.
“ Top Tip: Kimarnock itself doesn't have a lot going for it, sorry if you're from there! We used it as a base for Ayr and Troon, fabulous beaches and of course ideal for any number of golf courses.
